About Me

My photo
Laramie
This is a collection of published and unpublished essays I have written. I hope you enjoy and possibly relate to one or many of them. I Love my little boy Scout, thunder, popcorn, arugula, peanut butter, brisk fall days, laughter, comedy, sarcasm, and talking to strangers (the stranger, the better.) Every day is an adventure. I am learning that life rarely goes according to planned. I am beyond blessed and thankful for the good and the bad. Aside from Scout, the real LOML, I also share my heart with my four legged family, Phoebe, Sophie, Vinny, and Molly the cat. Growing up, I would bring home every stray dog that crossed my path. I remember how heartbroken I was when my mom told me not everyone was like us. Its difficult for most people to understand my heart and passion for animals. Simply stated I believe dogs are the real meaning of unconditional love and I want to help them. I realize the problem is far greater than something I can solve alone. Change is change, no matter how small. And making a difference is making a difference. I am a voice for those who cannot speak. I realize I may be their only chance to EVER matter in this World.
